Ever Wonder What Goes On Behind The Scenes When Remounting a Show?
It takes a ton of rehearsal time and behind the scenes logistics to make #DateMe: An OkCupid Experiment come to life.
But once we get in the rehearsal room, it’s always a Total BLAST.
Last week we worked on remounting the show and adding a few new people into the mix.
Meet Frank Caeti…
#DateMe director Frank Caeti
Frank is directing this run of #DateMe. And he’s been with us since the very beginning of the show four years ago. It’s been so fun to have him back!
When Bob Ladewig and I wanted to mount the original show in Los Angeles we made a list of potential directors and Frank was literally NUMBER ONE on our list. We are so grateful he said “Yes!”
Frank attacks the stage with such energy and playfulness that it’s infectious.
And that translates in his direction of #DateMe. As well as making for a lot of fun in rehearsals. And DANCING…
Frank Loves To DANCE!
Frank is an acclaimed Actor, Improviser, Writer, & Director… but I’m pretty sure he’s a Dancer at heart.
If you watch Frank in an improv show there will almost always be a scene where he breaks into a joyous dance. He just Can’t Contain Himself!

Meet Jaci Entwisle…
Jaci is our new Stage Manger. And that’s no small feat.
Anyone who’s seen #DateMe knows that every time a character speaks their Real Life Profile Name pops up on the screens.
This is in addition to Profile Pictures, Videos, regular Light cues, and a Billion Music cues being fired from our incredible music director Jeff Strickland. It’s INSANE.
Jaci has a tech cue literally every 30 seconds of the show. It’s impressive. SHE’s impressive. Let’s meet her…
We Love Our Stage Manager!
That’s Jaci on the left. And, of course, returning cast member Dana Robie on the right. Jaci is just so Lovable you can’t help but hug her!

No matter how hard we try to disrupt her, she still always gets the job done. She’s a Wizard.
Meet Sam Super…
What? Is that REAL name? Or one of your Fake character names?..
Nope. It’s REAL. Sam Super is our newest cast member. And while we love his name, we love his personality even more.
Sam played the role of MarryMeNowStat when we first opened #DateMe back in February of 2015. He was amazing in the show but then broke our hearts and left us for other acting gigs. But now he’s BACK.
We caught up with him Backstage before our first show…
